About the Founder/CEO
Our founder Michele Isenberg, Ed.M., has earned a Bachelor of Arts in Developmental Psychology and a Masters in Education from Smith College, Northampton, Massachusetts.
She began her teaching career in 1991. Shortly after her son Zachary was diagnosed with Autism, Michele changed the focus of her career to Special Education.
With extensive training Michele not only helped her son exceed the expectations of all professionals, she was also able to help many students and families do the same.
Beginning with her son Zachary, Michele has written and currently designs custom educational programs for every student she has the honor of working with.
Her original reading programs, individually designed for students on the Autism spectrum are highly sought after. With her expertise, drive, creativity and enthusiasm Michele continues to help students achieve their goals and dreams for a lifetime of learning success.
Michele Isenberg taught in both public and private schools all over the country including Eagle Hill, a private school for students with learning disabilities in Southport, CT.
She has written reading programs and curriculum for various institutions and has performed a great amount of staff training throughout the United States.
In addition, she has extensive training and expertise in all educational programming such as Orton Gillingham, Lindamood-Bell and Wilson to name a few.
About the Executive Director
Michelle Brinck, Ed.M., has earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Masters of Teaching from Sacred Heart University.
She began her professional career in education in 2004. Michelle held the position of Director of Student Activities at Norwalk Community College which allowed her to effectively teach college students of all ages how to improve their executive function skills in order to ensure their college success.
As a result of her expertise, Michelle was appointed the New England Regional Coordinator of Phi Theta Kappa, the largest honor society in American Higher Education.
As one of 29 regional coordinators across the nation, Michelle inspired and taught college students across New England how to improve their communication, executive function and leadership skills. Since then, Michelle has moved into a different area of education.
She has earned a Certification in Elementary Education; as well as, a Masters Degree in Teaching. Michelle's background in Higher Education combined with her experience in Elementary Education gives her the unique ability to work effectively with students of all ages.
Michelle possesses a remarkable ability to inspire and motivate children especially those who find learning difficult.
